svn: Cannot replace a directory from within
Hi Friends,
I am trying to do svn up, I am getting an error called "svn: Cannot
replace a directory from within"
While Committing it gives error ad "svn: File not found: transaction
'4476-1', path 'a/b/c'".
But i am able to run the svn st, svn diff ect.....
Kindly suggest the solution to the above
Regards
Harish

The "file not found" is obvious; the rest of the error tells you where
Subversion was looking when it failed to find the file. In this case,
Subversion was looking for the path 'a/b/c' in the repository transaction (a
commit-in-progress) whose name is '4476-1'.

What exactly does this error mean anyway? Well, 'file not found'
is obvious, but I don't exactly understand the last part.

Hi Harish,
Please ask your question on the users@subversion.tigris.org list.
This list is about development of Subversion itself, not about
user questions. Thanks.

We really have to improve that error message.

And this one, too.
