I am running the start-impala-cluster.py with the USE_CALCITE_PLANNER=true environment variable.  This will run the cluster trying the Calcite planner first and falling back to the Original planner on any compilation error.

The test_otel_trace.py has some failures when running in this mode (e.g. test_select_values) The query_trace values are being set to false on the first pass Calcite analysis and do not get reset on the second compilation attempt with the original planner.
