> Gridster did not have any update since September 2014.  There are some fundamental issues that probably won't get resolved. i.e. Widget wrap to minimum size when widget size = maximum widget size.  Gridstack has a few advantages over gridster, i.e. widget width can be dynamic base on browser size.  A better flow of widgets vertical positioning when browser window is 700px or less.
