+cc [~ashutoshc] This patch makes the alter table work by storing the field types for druid in metadata store. 
shouldStoreFieldsInMetastore in DruidSerde now returns true.  
However I am still exploring if there is an alternate way of making it work without needed to store the field type info in metadata store.
