cvs commit: jakarta-turbine-3/src/java/org/apache/turbine/pipeline ValveDefinition.java

jvanzyl 01/12/31 07:35:20

  Added: src/java/org/apache/turbine/pipeline ValveDefinition.java
  Log:
  - simple class that is a valve description which is how valves will
be described from a set of valve descriptions the pipeline can instantiate
the actual Valve classes specified in the XML descriptor

The TurbinePipeline can accept Valve if developers want to populate their
pipelines in a 'manual' fashion, the pipeline will also accept a valve
description which contains the necessary information for instantiating
a valve. The valve description is purely a convenience to allow the
mapper to deal with a single object type which is the valve description,
and the valve description can then be used by the pipeline. The valve
descriptions can either be collected and then be have the valves be
instantiated, or as the valve definitions come in they can be created.
    This is up for discussion.
