Working copy "not locked"
Working copy created under version 1.1.0-rc3 -- problem persists in
version 1.1.1
Attempting to switch working copy to moved repository. The error says
"Working copy 'Trunk/WEB-INF/classes/doit' not locked".
The classes/doit directory had been under svn control among other
directories under "classes" and "classes" itself but were svn
delete'd, and committed. Later, the classes directory with 2 text
configuration files were added to the working copy directories, and
committed.
The switch command did change the "source" directories (that are under
source control). In any case, the classes/doit directory is not under
source control, and using svn status shows "?" in the first column.
Final piece of information:
The original repository had been located on a Novell Network drive, and
I finally noticed the warning that this was not supported and would
corrupt the repository. I moved the repository from the network drive
to a local hard drive -- this is the reason for attempting to svn
switch.
Thanks
