Currently UimaUtils casts each descriptor's ResourceSpecifier to a AnalysisEngineDescription but uses it as a ResourceCreationSpecifier ... if the cast were changed we could use a CR in place of the CM and with a single-cas CR for the JD have a simple replacement for the CPE.
