We could leverage the new testing client methods of {{OsgiConsoleClient}} for that (https://github.com/apache/sling-org-apache-sling-testing-clients/blob/master/src/main/java/org/apache/sling/testing/clients/osgi/OsgiConsoleClient.java) (SLING-7297).
