[DISCUSS] Question on donating a project

Hi,

I've been building an OAuth 2.x compliant framework over the past 1.5
years. Once I got it to a usable state, I open-sourced the project (as of
a week ago). I want to build a community around this project and I think
Petri would be a great place to start.

I'd start a discussion on donating the project (what I currently call
Iridium) to the ASF. Is this a project Petri would be interested in? Any
thoughts, comments, or concerns?

- Josh

Good to hear from you, Dave.

Ok, let's start at GitHub and build a community.

And off we go!

Hi Josh,

Thanks for asking about Petri. The purpose of Petri is to help an existing community.

I think your project could be really helpful and empowering. For what I’ve seen knowledge and implementation of auth is an area that is hard to do correctly especially once you are inside a container cluster.

As an individual I’m willing to help you grow your community on GitHub. I know a developer who may be interested.

Best,
Dave
