[jira] [Commented] (YETUS-526) format generated markdown for readability in raw form

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YETUS-526?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16067030#comment-16067030 ]

Allen Wittenauer commented on YETUS-526:
----------------------------------------

This is more of an INFRA problem. The webserver sees .md and strips the LFs off. If you download the file, it's fine. We could create .txt or html versions or something and store them in the dist dirs.

> Key: YETUS-526
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YETUS-526
> Project: Yetus
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: Release Doc Maker
> Affects Versions: 0.4.0
> Reporter: Sean Busbey
> Priority: Critical
>
> The raw markdown created by RDM is unreadable:
> This makes it difficult to give folks a reliable permalink, since the rendered version (e.g. http://yetus.apache.org/documentation/0.4.0/RELEASENOTES/ ) goes away when we archive.
