overview and updated user guide in build and pushed to website

Hello there,

For those who are interested we pushed out the updated overview and user
guide to the website today.  Please do take a look and provide feedback.
We know it isn't nearly done or as of yet well written but if you have some
concrete things you want to see there please do advise and/or feel free to
contribute directly.
