MenuTree Component

Hi, 

 

We just migrated from the original Oracle-ADF drop (ea20) to the current
snapshot version of ADF-Faces. In the Oracle version was a component
called menuTree, which we used. We can't find this component in the
current snapshot.

 

Has it been removed or are we missing a step in the build here?

Similarly, the menuPath component has been renamed to navigationPath.

The menuBar, menuButtons, menuChoice, menuList, and menuTabs components are
also consolidated into navigationLevel (with a hint attribute that can
specify what appearance the level of nav items should take on, e.g. "tabs",
"list", etc.).  I believe navigationLevel only supports indexed children
today but ideally will eventually be enhanced to support stamped children
via the nodeStamp facet just like navigationPath and navigationTree do
already.

Hi Joerg,

That component has been renamed to navigationTree because of confusion the
name "menu" was causing; it was implying a File/Edit/View-style menu
appearance.
