mod_rewrite or reverse proxy
I have one shared web server that hosts www.domain.com,
www.domain.com/site and www.domain2.com, etc. The first domain is the
only domain with any sub websites. I need to move the first domain, but
not the sub websites to a new webserver. The new webserver will be
referenced by domain.com, and they would like it to be www.domain.com as
well. I have setup mod_rewrite so that any file not found on
www.domain.com is forwarded to domain.com, but I would prefer to reverse
proxy, so that the traffic is not forwarded. Can anyone point me in the
right direction for some help? Thanks in advance.
