Richard S. Hall resolved FELIX-185.
-----------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Assignee: Richard S. Hall
I applied this patch, but made a slight modification to name the configuration (renamed to explicitImportPackage) since I felt it would be more consistent with the other names.

> The value specified for importPackages in osgiManifest overwrites the auto detected dependencies for Import-Packages.
> It would be nice if the auto detected imports can be extended instead of overwritten.
> To solve this, the provided patch, adds an specificImports property under osgiManifest, which is added to the auto detected dependencies.
