What is the replacement for the org/apache/xalan/xslt/XSLTProcessorFactory
class?

You probably wanted to ask this in the Xalan discussion rather than on the 
Xerces list... but the brief answer is that you probably want to look at 
the TrAX APIs (http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/trax.html) unless you have 
special needs that TrAX can't support.
