Hope you'll read this from your even without a reminder that's usually post to
your login address.

I'm not sure that Betwixt at the moment has a quick answer to your problem
(which is probably why there's nothing in the FAQ ;)

It would be easy to added something to Betwixt to map nulls to an element [1].

In the case of [2], I suspect that advanced use of strategies and registries
would allow you to find a way to make it work but I haven't analysed your
example in detail so there may be some bugs somewhere in there.

I'm pretty busy at the moment and will be at ApacheCon next week so I'm not sure
how much time I'll have over the next few days. If adding [1] to Betwixt would
fix your problem (without needing to look at [2] or [3]), add a response and
I'll try to fit it in but I can't promise when it'll be done.
