Getting started with contributing to Apache Qpid

Dear developers,

I am an Outreachy 2021 summer applicant of which Apache is a part. I want
to get started with contributing to Qpid and subsequently continue the
contributions as part of the Outreachy program. Can I get to know some of
the good starting points like, documentation or easy-to-fix bugs which
would get me started with understanding the codebase? If this is not the
correct forum, I apologize and please let me know where I should ask this
question.

Looking forward to contributing to Apache.

Best,
Kajal Kumari Sah

Hello Ganesh,
Do we have to also have to install the language bindings in the
installation steps you provided.
If not needed then I have build Proton C code.

Hi, Kajal. You have the right forum, and we're happy to have you! To get
things started, do you have a Linux dev environment? If you do, the next
step after that is to get the Proton C code to successfully build.
