The [release guide|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FLINK/Creating+a+Flink+Release#CreatingaFlinkRelease-Createareleasebranch] does not mention anywhere that all poms have to updated to no longer refer to SNAPSHOT versions, not provides means to do so.
