Sean Owen commented on SPARK-20032:
-----------------------------------
There are no API methods here, and it's not expected that the Scala REPL is the same in 2.10 and 2.11.
> SparkIMain getClassOutputDirectory method is missing in spark-repl2.11 with 1.4.1 version.

> I am trying to compile scala code in java using SparkIMain, i have already done this by using spark-repl_2.10 version but for this i want to use latest spark-repl version i.e 2.11.
> For this i used 1.4.1 version with spark-repl_2.11 since SparkIMain is missing in versions after 1.4.1
> But there is no getClassOutputDirectory method and i am not getting a way to find where the class files are created after compilation.
