i found the conflicting software it is . ICE-2.0.2-for-32-bit-Windows it is an
up date from the older one . i just start uninstalling tell the error stopped
and started reinstalling tell i found it to start again . it ether the
ICE-2.0.2-for-32-bit-Windows or some of the updates that need to be installed
with it . open office this time is not the problem . as a hobby i take photos a
lot. i need panoramic photo stitching some time and it was the updated program.
i am reporting this to Microsoft.

Yes I read the links and they all point to problems in the operating system
files. There was only one link that even mentioned OpenOffice and that turned
out to be a problem with an operating system file not necessarily OpenOffice.
No one can confirm that there is even a problem. If it cannot be confirmed then
a developer cannot fix it. Did you even try any of the suggested pointers in
the links that you referenced?

This is an issue with the operating system, not OpenOffice. I use OpenOffice
everyday on a Windows 7 SP-1 64 bit system everyday and do not have a problem.
I suggest you try the many solutions in the links that you reference, all of
which point to the fact that is an operating system problem.

I had never encountered this problem.
So there may be a conflict with something else on your system like a bad
installation of AOO without administrator rights.
