Vacation and RC1
Hi folks,
As you may or may not know, I'm off on vacation now, and moving to Oslo at
the same time. I have burned a CD with all the stuff I should need, so when
I get near a PC I'll let you know. But I don't promise anything. So don't
count on me for the next couple of weeks or so, ok?
I just updated http://perl.apache.org/ISSUES w/ Bill's reports. Please
someone keep it up-to-date for me from now.
I guess that with those issues fixed, the RC1 can go directly to release
(Stas, get your infrastructure work going! :) No reports means good news I
guess. Even so, I really think that we have reached a point where we are
really well-placed: we work on most if not all browsers, no crashes
reported, and the site just looks damn nice as many have expressed. So I'm
sure that everything'll be set to go next monday or something. With the
mentioned issues resolved, you have my +1 already. Write a nice
announcement and go for it!
Anyway, I wish you all a good vacation and hope to talk to you again soon!

Well I wish you a nice time off, and thanks for the huge amount of work you
have put into the site!
For me? Vacation? Do I count going to the in-laws as vacation?
