The JIRA URLs on the Issue Tracking page [1] all use http:; however in order to actually create issues, one needs to use https:

There's also an annoying side-effect: if one clicks on the http: link, it ignores any cached login credentials, which means one either has to login again or change the URL to https:

Changing the URLs on the page to use https: would avoid this without causing problems for users who just want to browse the issues.
