xsi:type
Why does a Apache soap parameter require a xsi:type attribut?
In my point of view:
- a XML Document contains the content,
- a XML Schema contains the structure.
Well, SOAP does not seperate this information.
It would be great to have the option to include a seperate XML schema to
the SOAP Message to declare the structure of the SOAP Message and to
validate it.
Is there any effort in this direction, or am I wrong with my opinion?
any comments?
Rainer
