borken maven phoenix package

Hi,

I am trying to use the package located at
http://search.maven.org/#artifactdetails%7Corg.apache.phoenix%7Cphoenix%7C4.4.0-HBase-1.1%7Cpom

in an intelij idea maven project.

it seems that the jar located there is broken.

It can not be downloaded.

can you please look into it?

All Apache projects release in the form of source code. The release of 
JARs is purely for your convenience as a user.

If you would like to enable this, please contribute to 
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-1567

why don't you release a JAR for org.apache.phoenix:phoenix ?

we need to have the jdbc driver

There is no JAR for org.apache.phoenix:phoenix. There's a source-release 
tarball [1]

Use org.apache.phoenix:phoenix-core [2]
