[jira] [Closed] (MENFORCER-383) Have the ability to supply rules not specified in the POM inheritance

Robert Scholte closed MENFORCER-383.

    Resolution: Won't Fix

I think it was a bad idea to try to add rules via the commandline, because it only works for a very small set of rules (as expected).
With MENFORCER-384 I've created an extension which fits much better to the way Maven works and should match all requirements.

> Currently, the rules user property can only specify rules that have no arguments/attributes like alwaysFail which is not very useful. It would be great to be able to specify rules using an external file and a rulesFile user property. I have a pull request that will come forth with the improvement which is not very difficult.
