openoffice does not save document files in docx format.
we realy need saving docx when we want to write an article and they say: save
your article in microsoft office word 2007, 2010 or 2013 format and they mean
we should save it as docx.
i use windows xp service pack 3. once i opened a document which has only 38
pages and took 5 minutes to open the document completely in docx format and it
was very slow.
i mean openoffice is more compatible with doc files.
the docx files can be open but very slow and can not be save as docx.
