[jira] Created: (JAMES-719) Using of defaultdomain is inconsistent
Using of defaultdomain is inconsistent
--------------------------------------
Key: JAMES-719
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-719
Project: James
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Norman Maurer
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 2.3.1-dev
The usage of the default domain is inconsistent in james.
AbstractVirtualUserTable: use "localhost"
MailCmdHandler : use "localhost"
RcptCmdHandler: use "localhost"
James: use first from configured servernames
We should alwayes use the first of the servernames as defaultdomain in mailets and other servervices. Thats also what james put in the MailetContect as defaultdomain

Assignee: Norman Maurer
This bug is more critical as i thought. For example AbstractVirtualUserTable was using localhost everytime as domain to add if a user mapping without a domain was specified. So if someone removed the localhost of the servernames the mapping will cause a bounce
