[Bug 123213] New: Following a hyperlink (Ctrl+Click), then exporting to PDF will result in wrong link colors in the exported document

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=123213

            Bug ID: 123213
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Following a hyperlink (Ctrl+Click), then exporting to
PDF will result in wrong link colors in the exported
                    document
           Product: Writer
           Version: 4.0.0
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows 7
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: trivial
          Priority: P3
         Component: formatting
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: justincase@yopmail.com
                CC: issues@openoffice.apache.org

state after following the hyperlink

Using font: Times New Roman, 12pt, default color (black)

Steps to reproduce this issue:
1) Create table of contents
2) Set default hyperlink formatting in the style sheet presets "visited
hyperlink" and "hyperlink" to: Times New Roman, 12pt, no underline, default
color (which should equal to black)
3) Create some content to fill the TOC
4) Export to PDF with default settings and open the PDF document. The TOC
should be working as a jump board as expected, with the above font style.
-----
5) Now use (Ctrl+Click) the hyperlink in Writer to jump to the content.
6) Immediately export the document again.
7) Open the document. It should now show the hyperlink in a bright, yellow
color (propably a visited state).

Expected output:
The hyperlink should remain unformatted / use the styling that was set up.

Steps to maintain the expected output after having clicked on the hyperlink:
- refresh the TOC or restart Writer, then export to PDF again

--- Comment #4 from Roberto Atilho <ra...@my.fit.edu> ---
I tried to replicate this bug by creating my own table of contents by following
the steps in the bug description, but was unsuccessful.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (Version 6.1 Build 7601: Service Pack 1)
AOO401m5(Build:9714) - Rev. 1524958

However, I was able to replicate this issue by downloading the provided zip
file by Justin Case.

The following steps were followed to replicate the bug:

1. Download the zip file provided and extract the Document.odt
2. Open the document file in Writer.
3. Go to File>Export to PDF and save with the default settings.
4. Open pdf in a pdf viewer (notice all of the font colors are displayed as
expected).
5. Go back to Writer
6. Ctrl-click one of the hyperlinks in the table of contents.
7. Go to File>Export to PDF and save with the default settings.
8. Open pdf in a pdf viewer (notice the clicked hyperlink is now displayed in
yellow).

This issue can be resolved by the following steps:

9. Go to Format>Styles and Formatting>Character Styles Tab (Icon with A at the
top)
10. Scroll to 'Internet Link', right click and select Modify.
11. Go to The Font Effects tab and set Font Color to 'Black'.
12. Press OK.
13. Right click on 'Internet Link' again and revert back to 'Automatic' for the
Font Color.
13. Exit the Styles and Formatting window
14. Ctrl-click one of the hyperlinks in the table of contents.
15. Go to File>Export to PDF and save with the default settings.
16. Open pdf a pdf viewer (notice all of the font colors are displayed as
expected).

This suggests that there may be a Styles and Formatting issue on the original
reporter's configuration. Please reply with the build that you are using.

Roberto Atilho,

Thank you.

Your steps for resolving this issue worked for me too. Still, I can't remember
having changed the 'Internet Link' character styles at all.

Anyway, now this has been resolved, this ticket can be closed. I don't think
this is a bug; as you mention it's most propably some configuration issue.
