[jira] Commented: (IVY-640) Network resolvers timeout property

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IVY-640?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12649214#action_12649214 ]

Terry Jeske commented on IVY-640:
---------------------------------

Today all of my team suddenly could not resolve. As it turns out
<ibiblio name="javanet" root="http://download.java.net/maven/2/" m2compatible="true" usepoms="false"/>

was not responding, and the only way we figured that out was to use the debug flag. It would be nice to have a timeout, and then let ivy continue on the chain of resolvers.

> Would be nice to have network resolvers timeout property. For instance Maven2 sometimes gets way too slow and instead of waiting for some time I get timeout error!
