   Please ask this question on the dev@ mailing list too.
   
   Clearly this PR is not about a fix you want to include but also about finding a good solution and bumping into some module system/OSGi issues,etc. which might actually be separate bugs in themselves.
   
   So there is more going on here and dev@ might give you a wider audience to help you figure it out.
