Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: MPSHELL-1
    Summary: Bash completion patch
       Type: Improvement

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Minor

 Original Estimate: Unknown
 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: maven-shell-plugin

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Michael Schuerig

    Created: Tue, 1 Mar 2005 11:03 AM
    Updated: Tue, 1 Mar 2005 11:03 AM

Description:
The attached diff adds a shell:bash goal that generates a list of all available goals in target/maven_goals.bash. Bash needs to be told to use this file for generating completions. This can be done -- at least on Debian Linux -- by putting the attached "maven" file in /etc/bash_completion.d.

Michael
