Simplified way to specify rules in a deployment contributor
Hey Everyone,
My recent work on the Oozie deployment contributor led me to a much
simpler way to create rewrite rules. Take a look at how I do this in
the OozieDeploymentContributor
gateway-service-oozie/src/main/java/org/apache/hadoop/gateway/oozie/OozieDeploymentContributor.java
I started out with the intention to use Velocity as a template processor
for this but this turned out to be unnecessary due to the service
registry rewrite functions.

I should say that contributing the rules is easier. The rules
themselves in this example are actually more complex.
