[jira] [Commented] (MJAVADOC-500) Add support for explicit toolchain reference

Benedikt Ritter commented on MJAVADOC-500:
------------------------------------------

I think this should be better documented. From the JavaDoc alone I don'tĀ understand how I haveĀ to set `jdkToolchain` in order to select Java 9. A usage example would be good.

> With this option it is possible to select a different toolchain compared to the one specified by the maven-toolchain-plugin.
> e.g. this will make it possible to generate javadoc with Java9 (which includes search support) while the rest of the plugins use an earlier version of Java.
