Re: proxying page data - :-(
RE: proxying page dataThe first thing I ask is why Frontpage, and then.. do you have the frontpage extensions installed on the server?
The MS FP code is screwing up everyhting.. AHH!!!!
/me grumbles at the messy code, and added code that FP has....
<rant> Why FP? Its one of the crappest html editors there is. FP hates javascripting and dynamtic langues, it strips code, and then adds its own CRAPPY msthem crap code.. I dont get why sys admins, and web dev teams even use it! Anyone can call themself a web dev if they have frontpage and design a pooly codded/designed webpage.. There is a bit more to web dev than knowing the basic html code, and getting out FP... *sigh*
It just really disturbs me..I'm sorry.....

The HTML on the page when proxied seems to be identical to the HTML as seen when looking at the page directly. The code for the page being sent is attached; as you can see, images are referenced in directories such as "_themes" and "images" (which are of course not available on the server which is retrieving the page). I don't have a BASE in the HEAD/HEAD section, is this needed to retrieve the images?
Why is this a weird situation? It seems weird to me only because there shouldn't be anything in the HTML stopping the page from loading fully; I just assumed my proxy settings were incorrect.

I would need to see the HTML as rewritten by the proxy itself. This seems
to be a weird situation...
Are you using a BASE in your HEAD/HEAD section?
