This is the umbrella JIRA for work towards Azure Batch Support as a 1st class runtime for REEF, both Java and .NET

Azure Batch offers an [API|https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/batch/] entirely in sync with REEF's abstractions:

* Job Managers in Azure Batch are Job Drivers in REEF
* Tasks are Evaluators
* Resources can be uploaded as [Application Packages|https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/batch/batch-application-packages]

Internode communications are possible on ports greater 1100, which allows our control flow messages to work.
