Calling all JDK's
I've cleaned up the test code and have been able to complete "mvn test" with current Sun, gcj, openjdk, and Apache Harmony JDK's on Linux. Haven't tested Oracle, IBM or tested with earlier JDK's on this iteration.
If you have a favorite JDK that is not represented, please give it a whirl and if there is a problem let the list know. I expect to have an RC1 ready this weekend.

Re: Calling all JDK's
Posted by Scott Deboy <sc...@gmail.com>.
Before we cut the release I'd like to add an pattern converter that
cuts off the leading x number of dot-delimeted loggers. The one there
now gives you x number of trailing dot-delimited loggers (this is
similar to chainsaw's ability to truncate the logger). Should be quick.
Where should it go? In the main patternconverter code? Suggestions
for the pattern?
