   ## Summary
   
   This documents the current `ST_AsBinary()` storage behavior instead of changing it.
   
   `ST_AsBinary()` returns WKB bytes, but may preserve efficient Arrow storage such as `BinaryView`. For callers that need simpler Arrow storage, this adds `sd_simplifystorage(ST_AsBinary(...))` as the documented materialization path.
   
   Fixes #864.
   
   ## Testing
   
   Docs-only change; not run locally.
