This is more of a release note than a bug that we'll address; but putting it in 
Bugzilla ensures everyone sees it.  Our current backwards-compatibility Xalan-J 
1.x layer will not compile or run against a Xerces 2.x build.

In any case, this 1.x compatibility code is long deprecated and will be removed 
permanently after our 2.2 release.
