org.apache.calcite.avatica:avatica includes slf4j-api in itself hence hive-exec packages it into its uber jar too.
It causes issues where hive-exec is pulled in and caused classloader linkage error (it happened in ranger plugin where there's a separate classloader to load the plugin).
