Updating docs, WAS: RE: HEAD problems with Apache, and a request for changing the build instructions

Exactly ;) Also HEAD is likely to contain bugfixes for problems encountered
in a tarball, as we only (tag and) roll on milestones.

Ok, got my sleep :)
I now would like to know what the common problem is people run into.
