Build error using Visual Studio 2003 in file CMLeaf.hpp

I get a number of compilation errors building under the new Visual Studio 
release. The first is on line 143 of CMLeaf.hpp. The message is

error C2226: syntax error : unexpected type 'xercesc_2_3::QName'
