Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: WSRP4J-25
Summary: PortletResponse.encodeURL() in pluto provider adds extra context path
       Type: Bug

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Minor

    Project: WSRP4J
 Components:
             Producer
   Versions:
             current (nightly)

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Scott Goldstein

    Created: Tue, 15 Jun 2004 10:42 AM
    Updated: Thu, 17 Jun 2004 9:00 AM
Environment: N/A

Description:
Found while executing test portlets packaged with Pluto. When not providing an abolsute URL, the PortletResponse.encodeURL() method expects a full path URI, which includes the context root. The Pluto provider, however, is adding the context root to the argument, causing the context root to appear in the URL twice. In test view 3 of the pluto test portlet, an image fails to be displayed due to this problem.
