   Hi I think I found a patch:
   
   in folder plugin in  CDVspashscreen.m
   
   change
       [self setVisible:NO andForce:YES];   
   
   with
       [self setVisible:NO];
   
   and then use the js in your first page
   
   window.setTimeout(function () {
                     
                     navigator.splashscreen.hide();
                     }, 1000); // chose 1000 or different waiting time
