Conference call notes - 30 Sept 2002

Axis committers had a conferences call today to discuss the current status of rc2 and the 1.0 release.  These are the notes from that call.

RC2 status
- Final problem with security tests was resolved by Dims
- Kits will be released and announced today by Sam

Bugs status
- No currently targeted bugs for 1.0
- Targeting a bugzilla bug for 1.0 Final is how to escalate a problem
- Pretty much nothing will get in to 1.0 at this point

1.0 release status
- Current plan is to build and release 1.0 this Friday, October 4, 2002.
- Documentation and sample code changes to HEAD will be merged to 1.0 on Friday
- Please hold off on changing docs that don't match 1.0 code
- All committers should review docs
- Doc owners:
  Glen               Users guide
  Sam                Installation guide
  Rich               Developers guide
  Russell            Reference guide
  Richard Sitze      Integration guide
  Tom                Help Glen w/ users and leftovers

SoapBuilders interop tests
- SoapBuilders interop will be October 8-9 in Burlington, MA

- Need to have client and server working for tests
- Major implementation expected for Fault tests (passing fault data)
- All work to be done in HEAD, or if MAJOR changes - create a temp branch
- Test group owners
   Sam (Rick R. to help)   Group G: Soap w/ attachments & DIME
   Tom & Glen              Group H: Fault message processing
   Sam (Dims to help)      Group I: WSDL/XSD

Conference calls
- Our regularly scheduled con-call via IBM has expired
- Dims has a bridge that he is willing to provide ad hoc
- Tuesday's regularly scheduled IRC chat will decide if there 
  will be a call on Wednesday 11:00 ET.  
- Call info will be provided on IRC before the call.
