Nutch 1.7 Hadoop-Core 1.2 Ivy dependency

Hi All,

Nutch 1.7 ivy.xml has a dependency on Hadoop-core 1.2 dependency , I am
trying to use Nutch 1.7 on Hadoop 2.2 , should I remove this dependency and
then build nutch to deploy it on the Hadoop 2.2 ?

Thanks.

A Nutch built with Hadoop 1.2 is almost entirely binary compatible with Hadoop 2.2 because most jobs still use the old mapred API. You shouldn't need to recompile it, but if you want to, then you should indeed modify that dependency.
