ATS forward proxy too many connections, throttling warning with 3000 Users

Hello,
I have queries for ATS 6.1.1 performance related settings to optimize 
connections, RAM usage. Please suggest which configuration parameters 
can be optimized further to improve performance?


Memory Related setting in ATS & Sysclt:
kernel.shmall = 4294967296
[root@ats ~]# traffic_line -r proxy.config.system.mmap_max
2097152
System RAM fully used:

              total       used       free     shared    buffers     
cached
Mem:            23         23          0          0          0          
0
-/+ buffers/cache:         22          1
Swap:           11          0         11
Load: 3000 clients on ATS
