   @terrymanu Hi.
   I just met this problem in version 4.0.0
   I used a distributed database agent called "hotdb",which played role like sharding-proxy, I compared their performance(Multithreaded insertion，10thread),Hotdb is three times faster than sharding-proxy.
   My CPU has four cores,sharding-proxy CPU load more than 300% when my testing program is running(actually ,350%).
   
   I'm going to grab the program stack soon after.
