Subhash Bhushan commented on AVRO-3004:
---------------------------------------

[~kojiromike]
 * Now 3.5 has reached end of life, is this ticket a go?
 * Does it translate to simply dropping 3.5 from build and setup?
 * Should pypy3.5 support be dropped too?

> Python 3.5 has reached its end of life, according to [PEP 478|https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0478/#id4].
> Furthermore, pip, the standard Python package installer, [intends to drop support for Python 3.5|https://pip.pypa.io/en/latest/news/#b1-2020-10-31] in its January release of pip 21.0.
> Python 3.6 adds [new features|https://docs.python.org/3/whatsnew/3.6.html] that we will be able to take better advantage of, such as fstrings, variable annotations, and async.
