[users@httpd] mod_ldap: OpenLDAP SDK and Novell Directory Service LDAP

I am running Apache 2.0.48 in a Solaris 2.6 (sparc) box.
I am planning to use my company Novell NDS LDAP to authenticate users to
restricted portion of our intranet.
My understanding is that I should compile mod_ldap with Novell LDAP SDK.
The problem is that Novell LDAP SDK does not support Solaris 2.6.
So, I wonder if mod_ldap compiled with OpenLDAP SDK will be able to talk
with Novell NDS LDAP.

Shen,

you can also use the eDir module for Apache 2.0 to do the same

Yea you can you can use any library openldap or Iplanet's LDAP SDK.

They should work just fine with Novel e-directory or ADS. That is the
power of open-standards (in this case LDAP).

BTW have to checkes http://forge.novell.com to see if there is Novell
e-directory SDK for unix? I thought they were working on one for linux.
