Have you read http://forrest.apache.org/howto/howto-pdf-tab.html also?

That applies to version 0.6-dev.  Instructions to get that version are here
http://forrest.apache.org/build.html.

If you have done that and still have problems or questions, please give us
specific error messages that you recieve or reference particular parts of the
documentation that is unclear.  We can only help if you are specific.
